Ann Marie Healy, Executive Director
Ann Marie Healy became First Hospital Foundation's first executive director in 2006 after serving as the foundation's administrator since its inception in 1997. Ann Marie is responsible for implementation of the Board's strategies and for managing all aspects of the foundation's operations, financial and grants management.
Ann Marie began her career in nonprofit management as vice president for operations and development of 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania, a nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing cities and towns, conserving rural lands and reducing sprawl. In addition, she served as the administrator for the Union Benevolent Association, the oldest charity in continuous existence in Philadelphia, and as the executive assistant to the president of the Pennsylvania Environmental Council.
Ann Marie serves on the Executive Committee of the Pennsylvania Coalition for Oral Health and is a member of the Pennsylvania Health Funders Collaborative, Delaware Valley Grantmakers, Grantmakers in Health, Grantmakers in Aging, Maternity Care Coalition MOMobile Advisory Board for Riverside Correctional Facility and the Pennsylvania Hospital Historic Collections Governance Committee.
Julia N. Boerth, Program Officer
Julia Boerth became the first program officer for First Hospital Foundation in November 2011. Julia brings over four years of experience in grantmaking, grant administration, policy research and evaluation. She is responsible for assisting the foundation in the implementation of the board's strategies, and sharing responsibilities for grantmaking, communications, and overall administration of the foundation.
Previously, Julia served as a program officer for the Stoneleigh Foundation, a private foundation focused on improving the lives of vulnerable, underserved children and youth through fellowship awards. She started her career in Madison, Wisconsin at the Woodland Montessori School and later served as a program evaluator for the Wisconsin Legislative Audit Bureau.
Julia has been a member of the Child Welfare League of America Research to Practice Committee and the Youth in Transition Funders Group Foster Care Work Group. She earned an MPA in Public Affairs and Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a BA in English at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. |
